Good morning!  Yesterday was a long day for me and Rod, longer for Rodney since he was driving 😉. We both have sinus/cold issues, so not a lot of fun traveling while sick.
We started out yesterday from Waterloo IA at the casino, Isle Of Capri, and I won!  Not a lot, but since it had been a free night of camping anyway, we left with $60.00 more than we walked in there with! Yea!  We didn't leave the casino until almost 10:00am heading to Sioux Falls, SD.  We are not in any hurry, and took IA Rt 218, to 18, to Rt 35 into MN then to 90 West into SD.  Some really rough roads!  Rod even made the comment that MN uses way to much tar to patch their roads it was so bumpy!  We arrived at our campground (Yogi Bear-Camp-Resort) in Brandon, SD at 3:30pm, this is just outside of Sioux Falls, SD where we checked in quickly and were directed to site 413.  This is a nice campground if you have kids, they have a pool, hot tub, mini golf, free WiFi and cable TV, etc.,  since Rod and me are sick, we just set up our RV, took Rex out for a short walk and then we both laid on the couches and rested/slept until bedtime.  About 4:30/5:00am a really strong storm came through with high winds and hail so Rod got up and pulled the slides in on the coach.  I put Rex in bed with us because he hates storm's where he (vibrated/shook) until the storm passed about an hour later.  Poor Rexey buddy!  This morning is a bit cloudy and we are moving a little slow since we still don't feel very well.  Total miles traveled yesterday was 305 miles in 6 hours. Cost of campground for the night was $48.43 with a AAA, Good Sam discount.  No pictures again yesterday, but will try harder today.
